Community Guidelines
Tripsi is built on trust. These Community Guidelines explain how explorers should discover, capture, review, and share so the map stays honest for the next traveler.
1. The Tripsi spirit
- Share what you actually experienced.
- Help the next traveler arrive prepared.
- Respect people, places, wildlife, and local rules.
- Leave nature better than you found it.
2. Real, on-site captures
Captures are proof you were there. That is the foundation of Tripsi trust.
- Take photos at the spot itself. Do not upload stock images, screenshots of other apps, or someone else’s photos.
- Do not fabricate GPS/location signals or otherwise bypass verification.
- If conditions changed (closed trail, hazard, construction), say so clearly in your review.
3. Honest ratings
Rate spots using Tripsi’s criteria—experience, accessibility, and safety—based on what you found.
- Do not inflate or tank ratings for friends, rivals, or payment.
- Keep feedback specific and useful (access notes, timing, hazards, what surprised you).
- Disagree respectfully. Critique places and conditions, not people.
4. Safety and responsibility
- Never encourage illegal entry, trespassing, or dangerous stunts.
- Do not reveal sensitive personal information about others.
- If a place is unsafe for typical travelers, say so. Do not romanticize serious risk.
- Your travel choices remain your responsibility—Tripsi content is community guidance, not a guarantee.
5. Respect people and communities
- No harassment, hate, threats, or discriminatory content.
- No sexual content involving minors, and no non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Ask before photographing people in private or sensitive contexts.
- Honor Indigenous lands, private property, protected areas, and local customs.
6. Spam, scams, and self-promotion
- No fake accounts, invite farming, or ranking manipulation.
- No phishing, malware, or deceptive links.
- Promotional Partner or Campaign activity must follow any Partner terms we provide, remain transparent, and not mislead explorers.
7. Intellectual property
- Only post media and text you have the right to share.
- Do not scrape Tripsi content to rebuild competing datasets without permission.
8. Enforcement
We may remove content, limit features, revoke invites, reset ranking progress, or suspend accounts that break these Guidelines or our Terms.
Serious or repeated violations may lead to permanent bans. We may preserve evidence when needed for safety or legal reasons.
9. Report a problem
If you see fake captures, unsafe advice, harassment, or other violations, contact hello@tripsi.app with details and links or screenshots when possible.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
